· Point Me (Four point Spell)
Description: A spell that causes the caster's wand to behave like a compass and point North. It was originally invented by Hermione Granger for use by Harry Potter. Harry used this spell on a number of occasions, however mostly during the Third Task of the Triwizard Tournament, which involved finding his way through a dangerous hedge maze.

Description: This spell makes items to assemble themselves into a trunk.
· Lumos
Pronunciation: LOO-mos
Description: Creates a narrow beam of light that shines from the wand's tip, like a torch.
Etymology: Latin lumen, "light".
· Nox
Pronunciation: Noks
Description: Turns off the light produced by Lumos.
Etymology: The Latin word nox means "night"
· Incendio
Pronunciation: in-SEN-dee-oh
Description: An incantation of a spell that conjures fire, or other magical flames.
Etymology: Latin incendo meaning "I set fire". "Incêndio" is the portuguese word for "Conflagration".
Disclaimer: You can only use spells above your year level inside the classroom and the TA and Professor offices only. First years using 2nd and third year level spells outside the said places. Same rule applies to second year students regarding third year spells.
